The Vishva Hindu Parishad on Sunday said some people have been seeking funds in the name of the Ayodhya Ram temple trust without any approval and a complaint has been made to Uttar Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Union Home Ministry requesting for immediate action against them.
The Prime Minister addressed the 108th episode of Mann Ki Baat in which he reflected upon various achievements of the country throughout the year. He also mentioned Ram Mandir, which is slated to be inaugurated on January 22, 2024.
Ram Temple Ayodhya: The grand Ram temple will have 392 pillars, a 14 feet-wide 'percota' periphery which will span 732 metre. The Ram temple complex will have the lift facility and two ramps at entrance to facilitate elderly, specially-abled visitors.

Uddhav Thackeray on Ram temple invitation: Taking a veiled swipe at BJP, he said, "I only expect that political event shouldn't be made out of it (the consecration ceremony). Lord Ram is not the property of any single party. This is the matter of faith for crores of people".
The grand opening of the Ram Temple is scheduled for January 22 when the consecration ceremony will take place. It will be attended by PM Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, over 4,000 saints among other dignitaries. From January 23 onwards, the temple will be opened for general public.
PM Modi Ayodhya visit: "Maharishi Valmiki introduced us to the works of Lord Ram through Ramayana. In modern India, Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhya Dham, will connect us with the divine-grand-new Ram temple," PM Modi said.
Out of the three idols, one will be enthroned at the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram temple. The remaining two will be placed on the first and second floors of the temple.
Prime Minister Modi held a roadshow from the airport to the railway station and was greeted by a large number of people who had gathered along its route. Modi greeted people from his car, and at one point, opened the door of his vehicle to wave back at them.
Modi will participate in a public programme where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of development projects worth more than Rs 15,700 crore for Uttar Pradesh.
The voting on the three idols of Lord Ram Lalla was held on Friday. The idol with maximum votes will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
