Following a deadly attack in Ankara, Turkey has launched airstrikes on Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) targets in Iraq and Syria. The Turkish Defense Ministry confirmed the strikes, marking a swift retaliation against the PKK, a group involved in decades-long insurgency against Turkey.
A security camera footage of the "terrorist attack" near the Parliament shows the attacker getting out of the vehicle and blowing himself up. The PKK, designated as a terrorist group by Turkey and the US claimed responsibility for the attack.
