Gaganyaan Mission: Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) flagship human spaceflight mission Gaganyaan’s first test flight was successfully launched from Sriharikota on Saturday. The TV-D1 test vehicle lift-off happened after a short delay as the engine ignition was not completed. After a while, the space agency said that the reason for the technical glitch was identified and rescheduled the launch at 10 AM. This will not be the only test flight but three other similar missions will be fired off in the coming days after October 21, Somanath had said. Stay tuned for all the latest updates.

"The lift-off attempt of TV-D1 could not happen today. Initially, the launch was scheduled at 8 am, but there was the postponement of the lift-off time due to the weather situation. We have to find out what went wrong with that. We will come back soon after analysing what has triggered the Automatic Launch Sequence, holding the vehicle," says ISRO chief S Somanath on Gaganyaan TV-D1 test vehicle launch," ISRO Chief said.
