The wait is finally over as the counting on 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan has begun. Unlike previous two elections, BJP has suffered a huge loss in terms of Lok Sabha seats in the state. India TV-CNX Exit Poll predicted that BJP may win 21-23 seats in Rajasthan. However, as per the current trends, the BJP is leading only on 14 seats. While the Congress party is ahead in eight seats. Interestingly, other political parties including Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP), Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP), and CPI are also leading on one seat each.

Earlier, BJP's Manju Sharma clinched the Japur Lok Sabha seat and now BJP's candidate from Ajmer seat, Bhagirath Choudhary, won the seat with a huge margin of 3,29,991 votes.
