Nine people died in a collision between a four-wheeler and a truck in Rajasthan’s Karauli. Four people in the Bolero were injured who were rushed to Karauli District Hospital, the police said on Monday (July 1). The accident took place at around 5 pm near the Dundapura turn on the Karauli-Mandrayal road.
According to the police, the accident occurred due to a head-on collision between a speeding car and a truck near the Dundapura turn on the Karauli-Mandrayal road.
Locals inform police
The front portion of the car was completely damaged in the accident. Alarmed by the sound of collision, the locals gathered at the spot and informed the police and ambulance.
The police took all the injured to Karauli District Hospital, where doctors declared nine people dead. Four injured persons have been admitted to the hospital.
Upon receiving the news of the accident, Collector Neelabh Saxena and SP Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay reached the accident site to assess the relief and rescue operations. ADM Rajveer Chaudhary visited the hospital to check on the condition of the injured.
