In an intriguing political development in Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, the state's Chief Minister, made a surprise visit to the residence of Surykanta Vyasa, a BJP legislator. Vyasa had not been nominated by the BJP for the upcoming state assembly elections. The impromptu visit by Ashok Gehlot to Surykanta Vyasa's house in the late hours of the night has added a new twist to the already heated political atmosphere in Rajasthan. It is noteworthy that the two politicians share a familial relationship as they are brothers-in-law.

The visit raised eyebrows as it came just after the BJP decided not to field Vyasa as a candidate for the forthcoming elections. The unanticipated visit has further stirred the ongoing political rivalry between the Congress and the BJP, both of which are gearing up for the state assembly elections.

He stated, "I have been the Chief Minister of the state three times. I have successfully completed all three terms, which is a significant achievement. It's not just about fulfilling these three terms; it's also about the fact that they tried to overthrow my government in 2020, but they failed. They thought they would succeed here as well, but they did not realise the implications of their actions."

This unexpected political maneuvering is generating significant attention and speculation as both the Congress and BJP engage in intense election preparations in Rajasthan.
