External Affairs Sushma Swaraj on Saturday paid an unscheduled visit to Iran and had luncheon meeting with her Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif in Tehran.

The minister even assured that all Indians were safe in the country where unrest has triggered speculation of a coup.
Swaraj's announcement on Twitter came after Karachi resident Muhammad Talha last week requested the external affairs minister to grant visa to his father for treatment in India.
Sushma Swaraj said she has also asked the Protector General of Emigrants, the authority responsible for protecting the interest of Indian workers going abroad, to proceed against all such recruitment agents.
