Indian batsman Suresh Raina joined a list of cricketers who have criticised Shahid Afridi for his recent remarks on Kashmir.

Rhodes also lavished praise on 2011 ODI World Cup winner Raina who is himself a brilliant fielder.

Raina and Rohit on Tuesday selected their combined playing XI comprising players from Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians during an Instagram Live discussion. 

Raina said that Dhoni was batting and keeping wickets well during the practice sessions that Chennai Super Kings held before the pandemic outbreak brought a halt to all cricket activities.

The 2011 World Cup-winning player last played for India in the 2018 tour of England, but following a poor string of runs during the series, he was dropped. Overall, the 33-year-old has played 226 ODIs, 78 T20Is for India along with 18 Tests. 

Raina and Rohit initially named each other as part of the squad placing each other at No.3 and 4 respectively but then pulled out their names and instead played the role of a selector in naming the XI

Cricketers have been more than active on social media sites during the lockdown phase interacting with the fans or among themselves through such live sessions as all professional sport have come to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Raina made a cameo in an Instagram Live session of Chennai Super Kings with his wife Priyanka and revealed she is a massive Messi fan but for him and other CSK players, MS Dhoni is parallel to the Barcelona star.

Pathan revealed that the selectors had declared him 'buddha' at the age of 30 while in other countries players have made their debut in 30, citing the example of Australia's Michael Hussey who is known as Mr. Cricket. 

While Pathan retired from all forms of cricket in January this year, Raina has not played for India since July 2018.
