While Sonali Bendre is struggling through the toughest days of her life, her friends Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Joshi stand strong beside her.

The filmmaker's tweet comes after BJP MLA Ram Kadam posted a message Twitter which read "Sonali Bendre, the actress who ruled Hindi and Marathi cinema was no more."

While Sonali Bendre is fighting cancer in New York, her best friends including Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Oberoi stand by her like the pillars of support. 

Bendre revealed in July that she has been diagnosed with a "high grade cancer" and is undergoing treatment in the US.
