Shubman Gill, the vice-captain for the Sri Lanka T20 and ODI series, is likely to be rested for the upcoming T20 series against Bangladesh starting October 6 in Gwalior. Gill and several other Test players might not be considered for the assignment since it is sandwiched between two series.
