A day before his birthday, Salman Khan was bitten by a non-venomous snake at his farmhouse near Panvel. He was taken to a hospital at Kamothe in Navi Mumbai and was discharged later. Post his discharge from the hospital, he was back to his Panvel farmhouse, where he interacted with the media and celebrated his birthday with family.

Gauahar Khan was recently seen in a short film 'Sorry Bhaisaab' opposite The Family Man fame Sharib Hashmi. The film was released on December 16 and earned an applaud from the critics and viewers alike. 

Salman Khan made his official debut at the age of 23, as a supporting actor in the 1988 film Biwi Ho To Aisi. However, his first leading role in Bollywood was Sooraj R Barjatya's 1989 romantic family drama Maine Pyaar Kiya which went on to become one of the highest-grossing films that year.

Dharmendra, who is a close family friend of the Salman Khan family, tweeted, "Malik, Salman is like a son to me. He too has great love and respect for me. I always pray on his birthday and wish him the best. I got worried and called him after the news of a snake bite. He is fit and fine."

Adding to Salman Khan's birthday celebrations, the Uttar Pradesh Police tweeted a picture of the superstar with a face mask along with a text that read, "Zindagi mein Teen Cheez Kabhi Underestimate Nahi Karna- Mask, Sanitizer and Social Distancing."

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan will next be seen sharing screen space in Tiger 3, for which they will resume shooting in the coming few days. The duo has worked together in several films including Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Partner, Hello, Yuvraaj, Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai.

"We are coming together in 'Tiger' and 'Pathan'. 'Tiger 3' should be released by December 2022, before that 'Pathan' will release. Then maybe both of us will come together," the actor told reporters. 'Tiger 3' is helmed by Maneesh Sharma, while "Pathan" is directed by Siddharth Anand.

"A snake had entered a room in my farmhouse and the children got scared. So I took it outside using a stick. Gradually it reached onto my hand. I then grabbed it with my other hand to release it. When our staff saw the snake, they thought it was poisonous and due to the commotion that followed, the snake bit me not once but thrice," Salman Khan said.

Salman Khan hosted the party at his farmhouse at Panvel. Many celebrities including Bobby Deol, Arbaaz Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sangeeta Bijlani, and others were spotted as they made their way into Salman's farmhouse. In some videos of Salman's birthday, we can see him cut the cake with niece Ayat.
