Congratulating the writers and directors of the South film industry for their writing and vision, the "Bharat" star Salman Khan said that he hopes that the trend will reverse, instead of making South films in Hindi, people from there will remake our movies.

Superstar Salman Khan has recently started shooting for the upcoming Telugu action film “Godfather”, which is headlined by South superstar Chiranjeevi. It is directed by Mohan Raja and marks Khan's debut in the Telugu film industry.  

Salman Khan will be seen hosting this year's International Indian Film Academy and Awards (IIFA). He announced that Varun Dhawan, Ananya Panday, Shreya Ghoshal, Tanishk Bagchi and Devi Sri Prasad will be performing at the awards. The event will take place at the Middle East’s largest state-of-the-art indoor entertainment venue, Etihad Arena, part of Yas Bay Waterfront on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Salman Khan took to Instagram and dropped two photos of himself, taking a dip in a lake. The photos were posted without a caption. Meanwhile, Salman has recently wrapped up the shooting for a special role in Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming movie titled Godfather.
