Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan surprised Varun Sharma on his birthday, by dropping in at the latter's set.

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has been honoured with an award at the Sakal Sanman Awards ceremony on Saturday for his humble support to the Mumbai police during the coronavirus pandemic. Not just the director, but even actor Varun Dhawan was honoured for his contribution during the COVID-19 outspread. 

Action-packed films are Rohit Shetty's forte and the director is all set to make his digital debut with a web series which will be set in the same space. The yet-to-be-titled series will go on floors this year after Shetty wraps up 'Cirkus,' which reunites the director with his 'Simmba' actor Ranveer Singh.  

'Circus' marks Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty’s third project together after their 2018 action blockbuster 'Simmba' and upcoming 'Sooryavanshi.' The film also features actors Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever and others.

In 'Simmba,' Ranveer Singh is seen as a corrupt police officer who has a moral turnaround after a particular incident and becomes the saviour of justice. The film, co-starring Sara Ali Khan, opened on December 28 in 2018.  

TV star Nia Sharma has won Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made In India, beating Jasmin Bhasin and Karan Wahi in the final. The contest was a special edition of the reality TV adventure game show and it was launched earlier this month after season 10 of Khatron Ke Khiladi concluded.

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is extending a helping hand for the freelance media videographers. The filmmaker, who is helping people who were financially affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic, has transferred money to the accounts of freelance media videographers, who have been unable to find work amid the virus crisis.

Rohit Shetty has decided to use a portion of his remuneration from the currently-airing special edition of Khatron Ke Khiladi to support workers such as the junior artistes, background dancers, and others, by directly sending money to their accounts.

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty took to Inbstagram and announced that Ajay Devgn starrer Golmaal Again will be re-released in New Zealand. He wrote, "New Zealand decides to re-release Golmaal Again in theatres making it the First Hindi Film to get a relaunch post covid."

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who previously donated Rs 51 lakh to FWICE in order to support the daily wage workers has now facilitated eight hotels across Mumbai for on-duty policemen to rest and have meals amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The veteran actress Neena Gupta revealed that director Rohit Shetty never met or reached out to her after axing her part from Sooryavanshi.
