Urging party leaders to not make statements that could hurt any section of the society, Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter to express disappointment as he publicly called for an apology by Congress leader CP Joshi.

The Union minister further said 2.24 lakh fake companies were caught after demonetisation was announced.

Chhattisgarh is rich in resources, the Congress president said, adding the “dream of the state was broken due to the misrule” of the BJP government.

"India's prime minister helped turn the black money of the rich into white. He snatched money of the poor, but ensured benefits for the rich," Gandhi said.
