Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday lashed out at the Modi government over the Pegasus spying row, saying the Israeli software was used to attack the institutions of the country by the BJP.

TNCC president KS Alagiri, who led the protest near Raj Bhavan, demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his cabinet step down in view of the "grave threat posed to the national security by the Pegasus spyware row."

Congress MPs staged a protest inside the Parliament complex in support of protesting farmers and demanded that the three agriculture laws be withdrawn.   

Sambit Patra reiterated the government's stand over death due to oxygen shortage during the second wave stating that the onus was on the states to report such casualties.
