Amid tensions over the state's top seat, the Congress is expected to declare its chief ministerial candidate for the Punjab assembly polls tomorrow with all eyes on party leader Rahul Gandhi who is likely to announce the name.

During the same event, Rahul Gandhi also said, "We are making 4 promises to you. We will give employment to 4 lakh people. We will give LPG cylinder less than Rs 500. We will also implement 'Nyay' scheme here, in which 5 lakh families will be given Rs 40,000 in a year."

Aviation Minister Scindia also accused the Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress government in Chhattisgarh of not cooperating with the aviation ministry in its efforts to expand aviation facilities in the state.

The cricketer-turned-politician emphasised that only 60 MLAs will elect Punjab Chief Minister.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sithraman slammed Rahul Gandhi for his 'Zer0 Sum Budget' remark at Modi government saying that she will take criticism but not from someone who hasn't done his homework.
