Gandhi said French president had told him that the price of the fighter jet involves money of the tax payers and thus its price can be revealed.

By making such remarks, Gandhi was playing with the faith of thousands of Hindus, said Patra.

Meanwhile, ANI quoted AAP MP Sanjay Singh as saying, “Looking at Congress's attitude we have decided to abstain from voting for Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman, Congress is the biggest obstacle in Opposition's unity.”

Describing PM Modi as anti-Dalit, Rahul Gandhi said people from the caste are being targeted in states governed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) but he has done nothing to stop the violence so far.

Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said the court's decision is a huge victory for the DMK and recalled that party chief Rahul Gandhi had strongly supported the idea of a memorial for Karunanidhi on the Marina beach.
