Urjit Patel on Monday resigned from his post with immediate effect, citing "personal reasons".

“Electioneering ended at 5 pm today. Polling will take place from 8 am to 5 pm on December 7 in 199 constituencies,” Rajasthan’s chief electoral officer Anand Kumar said.

Alleging that the Gandhi family had been enjoying privileges for four generations, Modi said the court order was the "victory of the honest".  

PM Modi even joked that Rahul Gandhi does not have a clue about names of his own party leaders.

Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal slammed Adityanath and alleged he was watching a sound and light show in Gorakhpur with his Chhattisgarh counterpart Raman Singh when the violence took place on Monday.

Gandhi further said it was the bad luck of the ‘chowkidar’ (watchman), a term he often uses for Modi, that there was no dearth of honest judges who do not allow “arrogance of power to prevail over truth”.

Gandhi alleged the Modi government worked for top 15 industrialists of the country.
