'No tips please, if no bill, your meal is free' - printed on a tin plate with a rate list of the menu be publicly displayed on trains by March this year, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has instructed all zonal railways to ensure transparency in catering services.

The railways will soon add a new train to its fleet of Rajdhani expresses by starting another Delhi-Mumbai service covering Kalyan, Nasik and Khandwa in the Central Railway zone in Maharashtra, Railways Minister Piyush Goyal said on Thursday.

Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy met Union Coal Minister Piyush Goyal on Thursday here and demanded the Centre to ensure immediate supply of coal to Raichur Thermal Power Station (RTPS).

Vijay Mallya (62), on Wednesday, appeared before the Westminster Magistrates’ Court in a case regarding his extradition to India to face the trial on fraud and money laundering charges.

Goyal was speaking in the ​Lok Sabha after moving four bills seeking to amend the Goods and Services Tax (GST) laws for consideration and passage.

"The Supreme Court of Switzerland has ordered the Swiss government to share with us the data. In about a week or 10 days, that is going to get formalised," Goyal informed the Rajya Sabha during Question Hour.

In his proposal, Goyal has suggested a string of administrative changes including the introduction of a post in the Railway Board to exclusively focus on safety issues of the national transporter, along with the upgradation of the post of the zonal GMs. 

The century-old station on the busy Delhi-Howrah route is being touched up with saffron paint at places and signboards with the new name being put up.
