One of the few cricketers who came out of the 'Sandpaper-gate' saga with his reputation enhanced, Patrick Cummins has long been seen as the future leader of the Australian pace attack. Having made his debut in 2011, his career was beset by numerous injuries resulting in him not playing Tests for his country till the 2017 tour of India. But since then the workhorse has not looked back impressing in every match he plays for Australia. The cricketer from Sydney is now part of a fearsome threesome of Australian pace bowlers along with Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc.
