Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that the PM Modi-led government is going into the Lok Sabha Elections with development as its biggest weapon. Gadkari said, "Today we are thinking of reaching Meerut from Delhi in 45 minutes. That's our work."

Nitin Gadkari said he is getting best wishes from non-BJP parties, including the opposition Congress.

Gadkari said that Narendra Modi would return as Prime Minister with a huge mandate and it would be bigger than the one he got in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will on Friday lay the foundation stone of a Rs 3,580 crore highway project here to decongest Delhi, the government said on Thursday.

The projects will establish direct connectivity from Ayodhya to Chitrakoot and Ambedkarnagar.

Under the Jal Marg Vikas Project a new state of the art navigational Lock on NW-1 is being constructed at Farakka at a cost of Rs 361.35 crore and work will be complete by June 2019.
