Former Indian Skipper MS Dhoni is stepping in as a producer of a TV show which is going to throw light on the inspirational story of the 'jawans.'

Rishabh Pant has received significant criticism for his inconsistent performances with the bat in the last few months.

Pant has been under the scanner for a while due to his inability to convert starts and for erratic work behind the stumps.

Pant currently has three dismissals from seven T20Is played between India and West Indies while Dhoni leads the list with five from seven matches in the T20I format.

A video has surfaced online where Dhoni can be seen humming the tune of an old Hindi song which was posted by an Instagram user.

Sanjay Manjrekar believes that if Dhoni could replicate last season's performances for CSK, it would augur well for the side in 2020.

Dhoni has been out of action since India's semifinal exit from the ODI World Cup in England in July. He was not part of the tour of the West Indies and the home series against South Africa and Bangladesh.

At an event in Mumbai on Wednesday, Dhoni had said questions regarding his return to cricket should only be asked after January 2020.
