Actress-director Renuka Shahane says Madhuri Dixit is like a dream to work with, and would love to direct the actress someday.

Madhuri Dixit took to her Twitter handle on Sunday and tweeted birthday wishes for Preity Zinta, along with a photo of herself, her husband Shriram Nene, and the birthday girl. Madhuri, who has worked with Preity in the 2001 Bollywood film 'Yeh Raaste Hai Pyaar Ke', shared a sweet anecdote about working with her and how much fun it was.

As the film 'Ram Lakhan' clocked 32 years on Wednesday, the cast of the film including Madhuri Dixit Nene, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher and others reunited to celebrate. A picture from the celebrations was shared by the 'Dil To Paagal Hai' actor on Instagram along with a black and white picture of the cast from the sets of the film.

The musical action drama Thanedaar, starring Jeetendra, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Jaya Pradha, was released 30 years ago on this day. Madhuri took to social media to mark the occasion, and recalled how the film gave her one of her biggest hit dance numbers.

In the picture, Madhuri Dixit is seen in a traditional avatar, sporting a designer blouse, while adorned in jewelry. Her hair is tied in a neat bun, festooned with jasmine. The actor looked stunningly beautiful in the traditional avatar, as she holds a mirror.

Sharing the video, Madhuri wrote: "This video brought a big smile to my face. Dance, art and culture bring people together in such a wonderful way."

Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit Nene and her doctor husband Sriram Nene on Saturday marked their 21st wedding anniversary with a special note for each other. The couple took to Instagram to post pictures with each other and expressed gratitude to have each other in their lives.

Actress Madhuri Dixit has been nurturing a passion for gardening all through the lockdown months, and she has often been sharing glimpses of her kitchen garden with fans on social media.

"#29YearsOfSaajan. After reading the script of this film, I instantly decided to be a part of it. The story was romantic, the dialogues were poetic and the music was brilliant," Madhuri wrote.

Directed by Hiren Nag, Madhuri's debut film "Abodh" released in 1985 and co-starred late Bengali superstar Tapas Pal. In the film, Madhuri plays the naive and childish Gauri, whose parents are in search for a groom for her.
