The BCCI announced the Team India squad for the fifth and final Test against England set to be played in Dharamsala starting Thursday, March 7. India are already 3-1 ahead in the series and would aim to win the final game as well to strengthen their position in the WTC points table.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have named their vice-captain ahead of the 2024 edition of the IPL with KL Rahul set to continue as the captain. Rahul, who got injured midway through last year and missed the second half of IPL 2023. LSG have qualified for playoffs in both seasons so far.

Team India will have a new wicketkeeper in the upcoming England Test series, one of KS Bharat or Dhruv Jurel as KL Rahul is set to play just as a specialist batter, as head coach Rahul Dravid confirmed. The five-match Test series is set to begin in Hyderabad on January 25.
