Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul impressed everyone in IPL 2019 while David Warner's return to the IPL after a gap of one year was filled with runs.

KL Rahul had another successful season with the bat for Kings XI Punjab and his opening partner Chris Gayle had words of appreciation for the Indian batsman.

In the current season of IPL, the race for the Orange Cap is wide open, despite David Warner leading the charts with 517 runs. Warner's unavailability in the later stages might present a chance to other players to grab the top position.

KL Rahul, R Ashwin starred for Kings XI Punjab as the home side beat Rajasthan Royals by 12 runs in Mohali.

KL Rahul finally got to score his maiden IPL century as he led Kings XI Punjab to post a competitive total of 197/8 in 20 overs against Mumbai Indians in Wankhede.

While Pandya is a part of Mumbai Indians in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), Rahul is plying his trade for Kings XI Punjab and the two teams are set to face each other at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday.

"We will rectify our mistakes, and hopefully, we will bounce back in the next games," Sharma said.

Speaking after the game, Rahul said that it was about finishing the job as he had not started well in the tournament.

Man-of-the-match Rahul said he was happy to get his form back after an ordinary start to this year's IPL.
