Khaleel Ahmed burst onto the scene in India's U-19 squad in the 2016 World Cup. At the age of 19, Khaleel impressed the selectors his pace and was given the opportunity to display his skills when he joined Delhi Capitals and got to play along with Zaheer Khan and under the guidance of then-coach Rahul Dravid. In 2017/18, he played all formats for Rajasthan. With his incredible spells, Khaleel was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a staggering Rs.3 Crores.
