Bypassing the traditional theatrical release, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl will stream on Netflix from August 12. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Angad Bedi and Pankaj Tripathi.

"If one keeps working hard, then one will get where one has to get. I am aware of my privilege. I often felt guilty about it. But the best I can do is to earn my place by working even harder, " says Janhvi Kapoor.

Featuring Janhvi Kapoor, the much-awaited biopic on former IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena is all set to release on August 12 on the streaming platform Netflix. It is based on the life of Gunjan Saxena, then flying officer, who became the first woman combat aviator to fly into a war zone during the 1999 Kargil War.
