JJP (Uchana Kalan)

Dushyant Chautala is the leader of the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) and the former Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana (2019 to 2024). Dushyant is the grandson of Om Prakash Chautala and the son of Ajay Chautala and Naina Singh Chautala. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, he won the Hisar parliamentary seat as the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) candidate by defeating Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) leader Kuldeep Bishnoi with a margin of 31,847 votes. Dushyant became the youngest ever elected MP at 26, for which he holds a record in the 'Limca Book of Records'. Dushyant ended his ties with the INLD in 2018 and founded the JJP. In the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Chautala was comfortably beaten by Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Brijendra Singh by a massive margin of 3,14,068 votes. However, he won the Uchana Kalan constituency in the 2019 Haryana Assembly polls by defeating BJP candidate Prem Lata with a margin of 47,452 votes. His party won 10 seats in the Haryana Assembly, and he became the Deputy Chief Minister in the Manohar Lal Khattar government after the BJP couldn't get the majority mark on its own. He is again contesting from the Uchana Kalan constituency in the 2024 Haryana Assembly polls.
