The development came a day after the agency issued a summon to Deepika, the daughter of badminton icon Prakash Padukone who is married to Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, to join the probe after her alleged chats with her manager Karishma Prakash came to the fore during the investigation.

Deepika who was in Goa to shoot for an upcoming film along with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey. She left her five-star resort in North Goa's Sinquerim beach village, for the Dabolim international airport, from where she will be travelling to Mumbai in a special chartered flight.

As big names like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and others surfaced in the Bollywood drugs probe, Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde opened up about the consumption of narcotics substances in the industry and said that there are many talent management companies that provide special services to the clients.

The NCB, which began the probe after a drug angle came to light in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput's alleged suicide has summoned Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Shraddha Kapoor. And now Kangana Ranaut, who from quite some time speaking about the prevalence of drugs in the industry has spoken up on the latest update.

Actress Deepika Padukone has reached Mumbai with husband Ranveer Singh from Goa, Sara Ali Khan reached earlier in the day. Deepika Padukone has been called for questioning on September 26, while Rakul Preet will be summoned tomorrow.

Rakul Preet Singh, Simone Khambatta and Shruti Modi have been summoned by the agency tomorrow ie September 23 while Deepika Padukone has been asked to appear on September 25. Sara Ali Khan and Shradhha Kapoor will be questioned by NCB on 26th September.

Widening the investigation, NCB on Monday summoned Deepika Padukone's manager Karishma Prakash who works at KWAN along with Jaya Saha. The agency also summoned KWAN CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar and called him for questioning today.

During the NCB interrogation on Monday, the officials grilled Sushant Singh Rajput's talent manager Jaya Saha and celebrity manager Shruti Modi, many new names from the Bollywood came into the light including Deepika Padukone. Taking a dig at the actress, Kangana Ranaut wrote, "Repeat after me, depression is a consequence of drug abuse."

Actress Dia Mirza took to Twitter and said that she never ever consumed or got drugs in her life. Dia Mirza's named surfaced in the drug probe by the NCB in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The names of Deepika Padukone, her manager Karishma Prakash, Jaya Saha and Namrata Shirodkar have also surfaced in NCB probe.

In the widening drugs probe by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), IndiaTV sources have confirmed that the name 'D' that surfaced in drugs chat is Deepika Padukone. It is said that the actress asked for ‘hash, not weed’ in chat with ‘K’. Both names - D and K surfaced in the whatsapp drugs chat. Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor's name also surfaced in the drugs chat.

Deepika Padukone shared an Instagram story hinting about her upcoming film. She even tagged Ananya Panday, Shakun Batra and Dharma Production.

According to the NCB sources, the agency has begun a probe of a viral video of Bollywood celebrities in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case investigation. NCB Mumbai unit started the investigation. It will examine the veracity of the viral video first.
