BJP leader and former education minister Vasudev Devnani has objected to the letter written by Kishanpole MLA of the Congress, Amin Kagzi, alleging that he is "making efforts to spread religious enmity".

The three ministers are - Revenue Minister Harish Chaudhary, Medical and Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma, and Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra.

"The cabinet reshuffle will take place soon,” CM Gehlot said while addressing the oath ceremony of the Secretariat Employees’ Union.  

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has assured teachers that he will look into the transfer policy for teachers in the state.

Earlier in November, in a significant decision, the Centre reduced excise duty on petrol and diesel to bring down the prices of the two petroleum products which had been seeing an upward trend.  

Ashok Gehlot had a meeting on Wednesday at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's residence with party general secretaries Priyanka Gandhi and KC Venugopal.

According to sources, Priyanka reportedly urged Gehlot to accommodate rival Pilot's supporters in his ministry despite their long-festering feud.

A major reshuffle in Rajasthan is on the cards in the next few days and various modalities are being worked out by adopting the formula of "one man, one post" while considering appointments in the cabinet, they said.

Assembly seats of Vallabh Nagar and Dhariyawad will go to by-polls on October 30. 

CM Ashok Gehlot said the ordinance will have provisions for strict action -- including seven years' jail term and dismissal from government service -- against those involved in cheating, paper leaks and other irregularities in competitive examinations 

Coal India Limited's subsidiary company NCL and SECL are supplying coal on an average of 5-6 rakes per day out of 11 rakes allotted to the state. Due to this the thermal power plants have not been able to generate power with full capacity.

Gehlot also shared a govt ad on his Twitter handle which said that China, UK and European countries, India and the state are simultaneously facing the coal crisis.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday said that the government would request the Governor to return the bill on child marriage.

The education minister participated in the 'Sashakt Girl Child - Empowering Rajasthan' program in Jaipur.

Gehlot will be hosting a lunch for Channi at his residence, said sources, adding that it will also be attended by all Rajasthan ministers.

The bursting of firecrackers under prevalent pandemic crisis is not favourable for cause of larger community health given the significant relationship between air pollution and respiratory infections, the order said.
