Speaking at India TV's Chunav Manch 2022 ahead of Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday said that if Yogi wins, he will talk about Thakurs and if Akhilesh Yadav wins, then he will talk about Yadavs.

On being asked if Owaisi's party will be able to collect non-Muslim votes, Owaisi cited the example of AIMIM's Imtiyaz Jaleel Syed, who had won against Shiv Sena from Aurangabad Lok Sabha constituency in 2019.

Owaisi refused to call the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections bipolar, saying that people of the state are miffed with the Yogi Adityanath government over several issues.
