While addressing a huge public meeting at Darussalam in Hyderabad, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi appealed to people to hoist tricolour atop their houses to protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC). 

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday claimed that the government is bringing Pakistan founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah alive with the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. Speaking at the Lokmat National Conclave, Owaisi said that even if the bill is passed by parliament, he will "knock on all doors" in the country and keep his point of view in front of the people.

"Now she is having problem with Asaduddin Owaisi and the AIMIM. During the Nandigram movement in 2007, she herself had called him to Bengal and had sought his support. "But now as it is due to her policies that the BJP is gaining ground in Bengal, she is having problem with the AIMIM. This is nothing but political hypocrisy," Hasan said.

Rizvi's remarks against Owaisi have come after the AIMIM chief's views on the recent historic Supreme Court verdict in the Ayodhya dispute case. Owaisi has expressed his dissatisfaction with the Supreme Court verdict on the Ayodhya dispute.

"Not satisfied with the verdict. Supreme Court is indeed supreme but not infallible. We have full faith in the constitution, we were fighting for our right, we don't need 5 acre land as donation. We should reject this 5 acre land offer, don't patronize us," Asaduddin Owaisi said.

He was reacting to the acquittal of one of the accused in the 2008 Rampur CRPF camp attack case by a court in Uttar Pradesh on Friday. In a tweet on Sunday, the Hyderabad MP said, "Muslims are incarcerated in terror cases only to be acquitted after decades. We experience systemic discrimination in the criminal justice system regardless of the party in power
