Rajbhar has been reaching out to various political opponents of the BJP including the AIMIM, the Krishna Patel-led Apna Dal and the Jan Adhikar Manch to form a political front.

The AIMIM has decided to contest on 100 of 403 seats in Uttar Pradesh in next year's Assembly polls.

The Indian Secular Front (ISF) of Pirzada Abbas Siddiqui has joined the Congress-Left alliance for the upcoming Assembly polls in West Bengal.

According to reports, the Hyderabad-based party has stitched an alliance with Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) led by Om Prakash Rajbhar.   

Buoyed by the party's performance in the Bihar Assembly elections, Owaisi has announced to contest elections in West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh.

On December 16, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had met Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief Om Prakash Rajbhar in Lucknow to stitch an alliance for the 2022 Assembly polls.  

Eyeing to expand its base in central India, the AIMIM has decided to conduct a survey of Muslim-dominated areas in Madhya Pradesh. 

The convention will be organised at the Ramlila ground in Kolkata. The event will be attended by senior leaders of the party in the state and Congress' Bengal in-charge Jitin Prasad.
