There are 82 assembly seats in the state where Muslim voters are in a position to make or botch political fortunes, but they have nothing in the name of political participation.

AIMIM chief further said that assembly elections is around the corner in the state, and efforts have to be made to stop BJP win again.  

Delhi Police on Tuesday had arrested five members of Hindu Sena for allegedly vandalising the official residence of AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi at Ashoka Road in Delhi.

Asaduddin Owaisi, who had already announced that his party AIMIM will contest on 100 seats, is looking for a strong partner in the state, as he does not have a big face in UP.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Deepak Yadav said five people were arrested for their alleged involvement in the incident. Police said they received information regarding the incident at around 5 pm and rushed to the spot.

Atiq Ahmad and his wife Shaista Parveen joined AIMIM earlier in September. Atiq has more than 90 criminal cases against him. He was shifted there from Uttar Pradesh to Ahmedabad in 2019.

Rakesh Tikait has said that Asaduddin Owaisi is 'Chacha Jaan' of the BJP and that he will help the saffron party to return to power in Uttar Pradesh.

The FIRs have been registered at Barabanki city police station on Thursday night after his party's public meeting in Katara Chandana Baradari.

Owaisi is currently on a tour of UP, campaigning for his party ahead of the next’s year state Assembly polls. He had started his campaign from Ayodhya on Tuesday.

The Janata Dal (United) which is a constituent of the BJP-NDA has taken a different stand on NRC. Nitish himself has said that there is no need for NRC in the state.  

Asaduddin Owaisi said that his visit to Uttar Pradesh is just the beginning and he would go to many places in the state as elections are approaching.

Asaduddin Owaisi added that Pakistan has gained the most from the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan.

The Taliban seized power in Afghanistan two weeks before the United States was set to complete its troop withdrawal.  

Addressing a PC on Saturday, Owaisi said, "PM Modi led govt in an affidavit submitted in SC in 2020 had said that 'any coercion to have a certain number of children is counter productive and leads to demographic distortions.'

UP Minister Anil Rajbhar said that the AIMIM and SBSP alliance was an insult to the backward Rajbhar community.

Asaduddin Owaisi is a big leader of our nation. If he has challenged BJP for the 2022 Assembly elections, then BJP workers accept his challenge, UP CM Yogi Adityanath said.

Om Prakash Rajbhar has suggested that Asaduddin Owaisi can become the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

Referring to the post-poll violence in West Bengal, the BJP MLA said President''s rule may be imposed in the state.
