Alisha Chinai was the first one who accused Anu Malik of sexual harassment of when she recorded her famous track Made in India in the 1990s.

Sony Entertainment Television has issued an official statement, stating that Anu Malik is "no longer a part of the Indian Idol jury panel."

The channel has decided to drop Anu Malik as the judge of Indian Idol 10 after sexual harassment allegations surfacing against him.

Lara Dutta's husband Mahesh Bhupathi tweeted in support of his wife's decision and asked the film industry to stop engaging with the sexual offenders. 

Before Shweta Pandit, singer Sona Mohapatra had also called Anu Malik a "serial predator".

A former Indian Idol contestant Nishant Kaushik accused the crew members of physical abuse and mismanagement in a tweet thread.

Season 10 of the singing reality show Indian Idol is being judged by Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, and Anu Malik.

Auditions will begin from May 1 in Jaipur and then move on to cities like Lucknow, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai.
