Lata Mangeshkar passed away on Sunday, February 6 suffering multiple organ failure. She was diagnosed with mild symptoms of COVID-19 and admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai. During her hospital stay, she was kept on ventilator support for most part of the time.
After Lata Mangeshkar's death, Amitabh Bachchan took to his official blog and wrote: "She has left us ..The voice of a million centuries has left us .. her voice resounds now in the Heavens! Prayers for calm and peace."
