Senior Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Derek O'Brien has blamed BJP Chief Amit Shah for the vandalisation of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar's iconic bust in the premises of Calcutta University. Derek O'Brien also went on to call Amit Shah a "liar".
