Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt has not violated any quarantine rule while traveling to Delhi, a senior official of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said

Gangubai Kathiawadi, starring Alia Bhatt, is a crime drama feature, adapted from one of the chapters of noted author Hussain Zaidi's book, “Mafia Queens of Mumbai”. It will have its world premiere in the Berlinale Special Gala section.

"I felt like I was the only person in the world who was feeling the way I was feeling because nobody else seemed to be talking about it," says Shaheen Bhatt as she speaks about her struggle with depression.

According to the BMC rules, a person with high risk contact is required to home quarantine for 14 days. apparently, Alia Bhatt broke the rule by going to Delhi for promoting her film Brahmastra. BMC is probing the matter.

“Brahmastra” features Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva, a man born with special powers; Alia Bhatt as Isha, his love interest, and Amitabh Bachchan as his mentor. The film was initially titled 'Dragon' and the filmmaker said the team changed the name to 'Brahmastra' as it was a more appropriate choice. The film will hit the theatres on September 09, 2022. 

"I miss my father terribly today. I remember during the making of the film, he kept fighting with Ayan and me and kept questioning us. 'What are you guys doing? Who takes so long to make a film? Who spends so much money? Ranbir, you are not making a penny on this film. Nobody watches a VFX film in the country?' But I believe he is here somewhere and I hope he is proud. I hope he is smiling," Ranbir Kapoor said.

Alia Bhatt along with Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji unveiled the 'Brahmastra' poster at Thyagraj Stadium Complex in New Delhi. The film will hit the theatres on September 09, 2022. The multi-starrer project was slated to release in the year 2019 but got delayed to the summer of 2020 and then to December but could not hit the screens due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Gangubai Kathiawadi” is a crime-drama, adapted from one of the chapters of noted author Hussain Zaidi's book, “Mafia Queens of Mumbai”. The magnum opus features Bhatt in the title role of Gangubai, one of the most powerful, loved and respected madams from Kamathipura during the 1960s.

Ayan Mukerji-directed superhero adventure, Brahmastra, is billed as the first part in a trilogy. In the film, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as Shiva while Alia Bhatt plays his love interest Isha who supports him in his quest for the all-powerful Brahmastra.
