Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's film Sooryavanshi finally released today, November 5. The actor is playing the role of Anti-Terrorism Squad chief DCP Veer. 'Sooryavanshi' is a continuation of the cop action 'Singham' universe, which began with the Ajay Devgn starrer 'Singam' and 'Singham Returns', then expanded with 'Simmba', starring Ranveer Singh and Devgn, and now is going forward with Akshay Kumar's character.

Sooryavanshi: With just ba day left for the film's release, the excitement has increased not just amongst fans but also the star-cast. Akshay uploaded a picture of one of his action sequences from the film and said that it is his ode to old school action.

Ahead of the release of Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif's Sooryavanshi, SS Rajamouli took to Twitter and sent best wishes to the team. Sooryavanshi is the fourth film in Shetty's cop universe, which also features extended cameo of Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh who have played policemen in the director’s previous movies Singham franchise and Simmba respectively.

Former beauty queen Manushi Chhillar is soon going to make her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in historical drama, Prithviraj. The film is based on the life and heroism of Prithviraj Chauhan. The film will feature Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan, while Manushi Chhillar will be playing the role of his beloved wife Sanyogita.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently entered the Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 show along with Katrina Kaif and Rohit Shetty for the promotion of their film Sooryavanshi. During the episode Akshay shared several anecdotes from his life. He also shared that he has worked a chef and in a jewelry shop before becoming an actor.

He could be seen sporting a snake print shirt and sunglasses, perfectly reflecting Raju's pose who posed in a bold printed shirt and black sunglasses.

Suniel Shetty's son Ahaan Shetty is all set to make his big Bollywood debut opposite Tara Sutaria in the film 'Tadap.' Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the trailer of the film was released on Wednesday (October 27). Suniel Shetty's dear friend and actor Akshay Kumar was all praises for Ahan's performance. The film is all set to hit the theatres on December 3, 2021.

Mera Yaaraa: While everyone is waiting for the release of Sooryavanshi, the makers have been increasing the excitement levels by sharing various songs and BTS videos. Yet again, they did the same by their first romantic song 'Mera Yaaraa' starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and crooned by none other than Arijit Singh.

In Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi' Akshay Kumar will be seen portraying the role of a DSP who fights crime while Katrina Kaif will be playing the role of Akshay's love interest in the film.
