When Akshay Kumar appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show for the promotions of Atrangi Re, a portion of a conversation between Akshay and Kapil Sharma, which seemingly alluded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was leaked on social media. 

Akshay Kumar is currently in Mussoorie for the shoot of the Hindi remake of the Tamil film 'Ratsasan'. Taking to Instagram on Monday, the actor shared a video of himself enjoying the snowfall. He wrote alongside in the caption, "What else is being in love?! We call Uttarakhand Devbhoomi for a reason. Have shot in the most exotic locations in the world but Mussoorie - लाखों मिले, कोई भी ना तुम सा मिला."

Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and shared a video from the film's set, announcing the end of filming. The 30-second video featured Kumar, introducing and thanking his crew for mounting the film. The video ended with a slide, "See you in cinemas, Diwali 2022".
