Akshay Kumar is set to team again with his "Mission Mangal" director Jagan Shakti for an action-drama film inspired by true events.

Reportedly, Dharma Productions has requested Akshay Kumar to join the star cast of Dostana 2 and save them from bearing any further losses.

Akshay Kumar on Sunday shared his COVID positive report and informed his fans that he's under home quarantine. On Monday, he made a fresh post and shared that he's been hospitalized. His tweet read, "as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalized. I hope to be back home soon. Take care."

Ram Setu: As per a report, as many as 100 crew members were set to join the set for shooting on April 5 but as a precautionary measure, not just the film’s producer Vikram Malhotra but also Akshay Kumar made it mandatory for everyone to get tested. Further, the report stated that out of 100, 45 junior artists have been diagnosed positive for the virus.
