New Delhi, Jul 11: Narendra Modi, Gujarat Chief Minister and chairman of BJP's election campaign committee, may contest from two constituencies in 2014 Lok Sabha elections. He may contest from both Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, according to some media reports.
Uttar Pradesh will be crucial for Modi's scheme of things and in order to rejuvenate the party cadre in the state, Modi wants to contest from UP as well. The RSS is also supposed to be in favour of Modi contesting from Uttar Pradesh.
When Amit Shah, a close aide of Modi, was made the UP in-charge of BJP, it was being speculated that Narendra Modi will be contesting from UP.
