Rahul Gandhi alleged that whether it was NREGA, or Food Security Bill, the opposition always opposed these laws questioning where the money would come from.
"Let me tell you, we don't make hollow promises like them. We do what we promise", said the Congress leader.
"They (read BJP) want the poor to only build roads, remain hungry and watch the rich drive in luxury cars and fly in planes, but we in the Congress want the poorest of the poor to dream big about his son. This is the difference between them and us", said Rahul Gandhi.
"We want the poor to dream big, otherwise politics is of no interest to us. That's why I am standing before you today", said the Gandhi family scion.
"The poor constitute the strength of India. Only when the poor progress, this country will progress", he added.
