Mumbai: An eleven-year-old girl Drishti Harchand Rai wanted to interview the new Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, after watching him take oath on TV and speaking to mediapersons on news channels.
She told her mother that she wanted to interview the new chief minister.
On Sunday evening, Drishti alongwith her aunt turned up at the Chief Minister's residence Sahyadri and told the security guards stationed outside that she would like to meet the CM.
The guards initially refused, but Drishti insisted on writing a note for Fadnavis expressing her wish to interview the new CM.
The guards passed on her note to Fadnavis, who promptly instructed his personal secretary to allow Drishti to come in.
The 11-year-old girl met the CM for 20 minutes, and posed five questions to Fadnavis, who replied to all of them with warmth and care.
