Muzaffapur, May 6: A Bihar court today issued a warrant asking Union Minister and former AICC in-charge of Bihar affairs Mukul Wasnik to appear before it on June 14 in connection with a case charging him with fraud and cheating.
Chief Judicial Magistrate R C Malviya ordered issue of the warrant for Wasnik's appearance following his failure to appear in person in compliance with summons issued earlier.
Malviya had summoned Wasnik for personal appearance on March 9, but he failed to comply with the order.
The case has been filed by petitioner S K Ojha. PTI
