Bhopal: A day ahead of World Hindi Conference, Minister of State External Affairs and former army chief General VK Singh has sparked a fresh row.
The minisiter has said that earlier writers and authors attended such gathering for food and read their work after consuming liquour. He, however, added that this time it would not happen.
Singh, whose ministry is organizing the conference, further said that this time such authors have not been invited to the event.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inauguarate the 10th World Hindi Conference event in Bhopal tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Singh has responded to the reports saying that he is being misquoted by media.
Singh's had in past invited criticism for his presstitudes remark on media.
