1987 saw his comeback into the industry with his movie Insaf in which he was starred opposite to one of most the successful actresses of her time, Dimple Kapadia.
For 10 years Khanna stayed in the industry working on different projects which included his production venture to launch his son Akhshaye Khanna in Himalaya Putra.
