Vijayawada, Mar 21: Senior BJP leader M Venkaih Naidu today said the Congress-led Government at the Centre has not right to rule as it has been hit by a rash of scams.
"The UPA Government has no moral right to rule this country as it was facing serious corruption charges. It is the most tainted government and it has lost its credibility," he said talking to reporters here.
"The Government should have resigned as it has lost the right to continue in power."
He said the main Opposition party has decided to fight against the Manmohan Singh Government both in and outside Parliament over the issue of corruption.
The party will launch a two-month long nationwide against the ruling coalition from April 6 the formation day of BJP, he said.
Naidu said the Prime Minister can not escape from allegations related to "cash-for-vote" by saying that the issue was related to 14th Parliament and UPA returned to power with people's mandate in the next election.
"Cash-for-vote" episode should be investigated by an independent agency, the BJP leader said. PTI
