Garhwa (Jharkhand): The BJP today said unstable governments turned out to be a stumbling block in Jharkhand's growth and appealed to the people to vote for the party to open the doors of development.
“During Lok Sabha elections you elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the captain. Now you elect players (in the Assembly polls) to open the doors of development,” Union Minister of state for Finance Jayant Sinha said in an election meeting at Ramkanda under Garhwa Assembly constituency.
Appealing to the people to vote for the BJP to turn around the fate of the state, BJP National Vice-President and former Jharkhand Deputy Chief Minister Raghuvar Das too blamed unstable governments for the state's backwardness.
“There has been no development though the state was created 14 years ago. Vote for the BJP in majority to usher in progress and development,” Das said in his address in support of party candidate from Garhwa, which is going for polls in the first phase on November 25.
