Uddhav Thackeray, the working president of Shiv Sena told a gathering in Pune on Saturday night that if Shah Rukh Khan can make a film named My Name is Khan, then we will show him the true meaning of My Name Is Thackeray.
Uddhav was giving a public interview at S P College grounds in Pune, conducted by interviewer Sudhir Gadgil. He said, Shiv Sena never opposed IPL matches, but after 26/11, even sports minister M S Gill had to say that India will not play cricket with Pakistan any more. Do you think the families of 26/11 martyrs would like to see Pakistani players playing in IPL on their TV sets?, he added.
The Thackeray family scion said, Mumbai police constable Tukaram Omble, without any weapon, caught Kasab single-handedly, and this govt is making a state guest out of Kasab.
In his 90 minute interview, Uddhav said, "I too have travelled on Mumbai local trains, but not without commandos ringing me from all sides. He (Rahul) took out money from ATM. These Delhi people have made Mumbai their ATM. They only know how to milk Mumbai..but tell me what did Mumbai and Maharashtra get from Rahul's tour?"
Uddhav said, there was a Congress conspiracy to carve out a separate state from Maharashtra incorporating Mumbai, Thane and Raigad. "I know Ambika Soni (I & B Minister) reads Samna, but I want to ask her and Chidamaram, why was the Tricolour not unfurled on January 26 this year at Lal Chowk, Srinagar? Do they have any reply?"
